On any typical Friday, it would be greater with a deep breath of relief as we recline a little and plan some fun for the weekend. But in this case we'd been planning for months and on this particular Friday there was nothing but anticipation and preparation.

We teamed up with the guys at Uppercut Deluxe to put on our second Hooligan Hoedown in Pioneertown, CA home to the legendary BBQ and rock music venue known as Pappy and Harriet's.

Since we were headed out to the desert, we had different groups of riders meet up in different areas, only to converge at the Morongo Casino lot. Thanks to the folks at Seaweed and Gravel, Glory, and Eagle and Pig Barbershop for coordinating their riders so we could all make it.

From there it was a fun take over of the I-10 Eastbound, and straight up towards Joshua Tree.

We took over horse corrals to camp in and set up a stage in the back. Pulled pork plates, music from 4 bands, a few pallets in the fire, what else could we ask for!

This set of photos from Scott Toepfer, more to come from Jessica Chiang and Samson Hatae.

So you attended the Hoedown but forgot to grab tee? Or maybe you couldn't make it to this one but wish you had? No worries, we still have a few shirts left and $15 bucks gets you one. Plus, we'll throw in a free koozie while supplies last. They're going quick! GET ONE HERE
