Cross-Country

Alyssa and Guigo Foggiato are a newly wedded couple that enjoys adventuring in a 1993 Chevy G20 named Bonnie and capturing moments on film with an arsenal of manual camera equipment. Alyssa and Guigs decided to forgo the classic wedding extravaganza and instead opted for a road trip honeymoon that would take them across the country.

“We started the long drive home in Pennsylvania, and our first stop was New Orleans. We spent two days exploring the bayous, Frenchmen Street, and all the hidden corners of the city. We then hit the road again and made a very important pitstop for some beer and BBQ in Austin, Texas. After we had our fill we continued on to White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, where we saw the most beautiful and peaceful sunset melting into the crystal white sand. Then we went to Albuquerque in search of a fabled 13 mile dry ditch. Guigs spent the afternoon skating until there was no light left. Our final stop was the Grand Canyon, where Guigs made me cry by climbing out onto a rock overlooking a massive cliff”.

And, that was their road trip honeymoon in a very small nutshell.
