Cut & shaped to resemble an "Ulu" knife, which is an all-purpose knife traditionally used by Yup'ik, Inuit, and Aleut women of Alaska. The Ulu Knives were utilized in applications as diverse as skinning and cleaning animals, cutting a child's hair, cutting food and, if necessary, trimming blocks of snow and ice used to build an igloo.
This necklace is hammered with a vintage hammer to create a unique, moon crater-like texture, on a delicate gold brass chain. Simple and elegant worn alone or perfect for layering together or with another necklace.
