Position: Digital Marketing Assistant/Specialist

As Digital Marketing Specialist at Iron & Resin, you will be based out of our Studio HQ in Ventura, CA. The core goal of this position is to become a tightly woven member of our growing digital marketing and ecommerce department, supporting the team by executing the basic mechanics of digital marketing planning, execution and reporting. This is an entry level position within an extremely fast paced digital environment, so eagerness to learn is essential.


  • Email marketing scheduling, planning & reporting: inclusive of the creation/templating of email marketing campaigns, QA’ing and editing imagery for holistic campaign storytelling, email target audience segmentation and list building, reporting & recommendations for future campaigns
  • Ecommerce product page creation and optimization: including writing & QA’ing product descriptions, optimizing meta descriptions, photo alt tags, product & lifestyle photo editing & uploading
  • Basic digital photography editing such as creating, and adhering to, file naming conventions; photo resizing for website, email and social media via Photoshop CC; organization of cloud space for team members; QA’ing lifestyle photography needs for future campaigns
  • Day-to-day paid media campaign management, building and reporting within Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest and other 3rd party platforms
  • Minor copywriting, editing, QA’ing on website, email, blog, social and creative assets
  • Competitive and vertical research to provide findings around strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the Iron & Resin brand, and how to maximize efforts against those  



  • BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations
  • 0-1 years previous internship or work experience preferred within a digital marketing environment
  • Analytical and strategic mindset that is able to take basic knowledge and familiarity of the digital marketing landscape – inclusive of ecommerce, advertising, and best practices – and put them to use
  • Working knowledge or experience with Adobe Photoshop CC, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager
  • Minimum 15-20 hours per week
