if there were ever a time to feel the transition of the seasons, it's certain to be the month of May. the unpredictable weather patterns (especially this past season) were clear indications that winter was bidding us farewell, while the Spring '23 season was eagerly trying to display its grand entrance. to be honest, it's one of our favorite times to be near the coastline. the remaining thinned out winter crowds linger as the cold keeps the tourist traffic away. swell is usually solid, too. the perfect intersection of unpredictability and the expected.
