Exactly what I hoped for
"Love the blend of insulation and shell in this jacket. Love the heft. Exterior pockets are in just a touch of an awkward position - but that could just be relative to my arm length. Fantastic jacket. Fit is great for a single layer. Might be a little small for a second layer."

Amazing!
"I am 6' tall, 215lb, athletic, and I normally wear a L or XL. I'm glad I scanned reviews to see others of similar size ordering XXL, so I ordered an XXL for the first time in my life. It's a perfect fit, and the quality is even better than I hoped. Amazing jacket. Heirloom quality, really. I'm stoked."

I have in black and
"I have in black and brown color of this jacket and it's very versatile. Lot of pockets and build quality is top class. Design is super stylish and timeless to wear for decades. Fabric material is so durable and thick with features of warm liner. Quite heavy compared to my other many jackets. I am 5'7" 160lbs small size fit just right with one t shirt layer. My latest favorite brand is Iron & Resin and bought so many from them and never disappointed. Thank you I&R."

Rugged Heritage Meets Real-World Mobility
"I give the Raymond Waxed Canvas Cruiser Jacket a solid 5 out of 5 stars. After researching the fit, I decided to size up from my usual medium to a large, and it was the perfect call. For reference, I have an athletic build with broad shoulders and wanted enough room to layer a sweatshirt underneath. The fit is spot on—even with the added layer, the arm articulation is excellent. It is rare to find a jacket this heavy and rigid that still offers such great mobility. The olive color is fantastic and offers a really rewarding break-in process. Now that it’s starting to settle, the canvas has developed a texture that almost looks and feels like suede. Living in the Northeast, I’ve already put the warmth to the test while shoveling the driveway; the temperature regulation is very predictable, and I haven't overheated or felt uncomfortable once. What really impresses me is the versatility. The cut remains flattering even without a sweatshirt underneath, making it a true multipurpose piece for different seasons. I also want to call out the lined pockets—they are incredibly soft and positioned exactly where you’d want them. The visuals of this jacket perfectly match the function; it’s a high-quality piece that feels like it’s built to last a lifetime."

Best. Gift. Ever
"This was an anniversary gift for my hubby. Fun fact, wax is traditional for 26 years. And since candles are boring, and don't last, I went on a mission for the best waxed jacket ever. And I found it here. Well done. It's stunning, He loves it, and if he starts sleeping in it I wouldn't be surprised."

Quality
"This jacket is high quality. Needs some breaking in, but that’s expected. Would of probably moved a size up. Runs a bit small."

Great Jacket!
"Great jacket, especially for the price. Puts my waxed canvas jacket from a company that rhymes with Bilson to shame!"

The Raymond Cruiser Jacket - has made me an Iron & Resin advocate.
"This jacket is everything I hoped for, and more. I'm usually a L to XL, but did my research, took my measurements, and with fingers crossed, ordered a 2XL - and it fits just great The design is great, a little longer than a jean jacket style, but perfect for riding my motorbike. A top notch, mid-weight waxed canvas, a really cool lining fabric as well, and I'm now even checking out the flannel shirts with the same design! I'm all about the details, hems, seams, pocket edgings, all great. Quality 2-way zipper allowing riding room when in the saddle. I live in the south of New Zealand and Autumn (Fall) officially starts next month, so it will be a great jacket then."

"Amazing Jacket!!! Looks and feels good! Great fit with and without a jumper/hoody underneath (I’m female, around 5’5”, and just under 14 stone - aiming to lose a little more weight which will make the fit even better! The lining look awesome! Looking forward to wearing more throughout the springtime. Its not always easy to find tough durable functional and fashionable clothing for women, as a tomboy if I get the sizing right it is a little easier (but I think with the right sort of styling such as a skinny jeans combo this jacket could easily suit man or woman - for feminine or masculine styles or a combination of both which xan be pretty cool). Iron & Resin have a great selection of clothing and I will be buying more from this shop!"
