When you enter the world of DJ Javier you're immediately greeted with inspiration. To your right is a wall filled inch by inch of found pieces, relics of past projects, and eye candy as far as you can see. Dig a little deeper and you'll be greeted by the familiar stacks of Sex Wax, paint chips, and endless sketchbooks. It's a room that is a direct reflection of the man behind those four walls: DJ Javier.
DJ is someone who has seemingly done it all in his career. From time spent as one of our first ever interns, to collaborations with everyone from the LA Rams to Vans, he's built up quite the resume. Lucky enough for us, when we hit up DJ about getting the band back together for a collaboration he was all ears. Fast forward a year and some change and we couldn't be more proud to introduce this collection of gear. Seamlessly merging the classic stylings of INR with the unique and bold artistic art of DJ, this collection is the ultimate nod to the place we call home.
Inspiration is in everything. It’s in the in-between moments, it’s in our cultural backgrounds, it’s in the music we listen to; hell, it’s even in the post-surf Taco Bell runs. And in our opinion nobody does a better job fusing all those bits of inspiration into a cohesive body of work than DJ Javier does.
That’s why we could not be more excited to have had DJ onto the Wild Ones Podcast. He is someone whose career and work has massively inspired us. From starting as an intern here at Iron & Resin, to cutting his teeth in the agency world, and taking the leap to pursue his vision, DJ is a prime example of what it looks like to live life on your own terms.
