Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:
Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.
- Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
- Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
- Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
- A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.

"I do love this shirt - but among the shirts I've bought from I&R so far it feels a little Junior Varsity in terms of weight and value. I'd be disappointed if I had paid full price. Runs small versus the other Larges I bought (Reef and Fenceline). I had to exchange for an XL."

Quality Unlike I’ve Known Before
"This corduroy shirt is my first Iron & Resin purchase and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s also my first foray into shifting away from fast fashion. What a place to start! The forest green color is rich without being saturated. Wearing it, you can feel the quality in the material and the construction.
