"Rugged materials, warm fleece and it doesn’t look like a popular brand. Wished it was made in USA, (it ain’t China, however). Get compliments but that doesn’t a good jacket make. Time will tell. I like this coat, (it’s more of a coat than a jacket). One thing, pay attention, it RUNS SMALL. I’m 6’ 170 and skinny like a scarecrow and I needed an EXTRA LARGE. Wrangler, Schaefer and others I’m smack dab in a medium. Size up. Last thought, it needs a zipper. Buttons are great for dandy boys, but when it’s cold in the high country in Colorado, warm is king. I still like this coat, gonna keep it. Put your phone in your pocket and live life."

Great waxed jacket for cold weather

"Big fan of waxed jackets, and was looking for one for winter. Everything looks very well constructed, and should be plenty warm for winter. I’m 5’10”, 225 lbs, with athletic build, and the XXL is perfect. I had sized up knowing this would probably fit “small” due to the insulation. Can wear with just a tshirt underneath, or a thin fleece/shirt. I do wish it had a zipper to go with the button front; but it will be a casual use jacket for me, not necessarily for heavy work; and the buttons are very sturdy."

"Been looking for a good quality waxed jacket. I haven’t bought anything from iron and resin before, but been looking. Pulled the trigger and couldn’t be happier. I haven’t worn it yet cause it’s summer still but great quality and will be worn anytime I can."

Great Jacket - love the look!

"It’s a great looking jacket - it feels really substantial and well put together. I haven’t worn this out in the elements yet, but I’m confident this will be great for part of the cold Minnesota winter (I would guess down to 20-25 degrees or so, with some layers). I would say it mostly fits true to size but for more of a tailored fit. If you plan on heavy layering or like a looser fit, moving up one size might be good for you. I am 6’0”, 218 lb and normally wear an XL. The XL fits me good, it does feel a bit more tailored though. Guessing it will loosen up over time. The buttons do take a little time buttoning up as the jacket is a little stiff at first, for those that care about grabbing and going. The jacket also looks great wearing open with a flannel or Henley underneath. Love the look and love the material! Looking forward to a long time wearing this and forming a nice patina over time."
