Our Rider Pant is crafted from exceptional 15.75 oz heavyweight raw selvedge denim. Selvedge denim is woven on traditional narrow-width shuttle looms, unlike mass-produced denim made on modern wide industrial looms. This slower weaving process creates a denser fabric with a clean, self-finished edge that helps prevent fraying. It requires more time, expertise, and fabric to make, giving the denim its distinctive character and premium quality.

Because it is raw and unwashed, the fabric will soften and develop a unique patina over time, reflecting the way its owner wears it. No two pairs will age in exactly the same way.

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

• Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
• Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
• Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
• A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.
