The Talon front zipper closure + front placket with brushed silver heavy metal buttons make it easy to get in and out of, while the leather drum dyed, veg tanned, cow hide western yoke provides extra durability. Two exterior snap closure pockets keep your belongings close at hand, while the snap-button neck closure ensures a snug fit all winter long.

Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.

Nice but not sure

"It is a nice jacket, very light and it feels very warm, good for winter. But it doesn't feel like it is waxed, maybe due to the thin outer material? but will give it a 5 star since writing the first review - it seems like water repellent when pouring water on it, but if you ´rub´ the water on it, it appears like the water penetrates the outer material at least. I am 5.9 / 176 cm and 82 kg/180 pounds, so size Large fits me best. Can layer, tailored fit so perfect length right above or on the belt."
