Maverick Jacket

This jacket has been sitting in our sketchbooks for a long time. We wanted to build a classic bomber that feels right at home on an early morning ride, a late night in the city, or anywhere the day takes you. Clean lines, rugged materials, and a silhouette that never stops working. It is lightweight enough to wear daily but sturdy enough to take a beating. The kind of jacket you reach for without thinking because it always does the job.

The exterior is a smooth, tightly woven nylon built to block wind and shed light weather. Inside, a soft quilted lining keeps things warm without adding bulk. Rib-knit cuffs, collar, and hem lock in heat and give it that vintage flight jacket feel. Every detail was chosen to last and to wear in, not out.

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

• Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
• Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
• Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
• A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.
