Introducing the Iron & Resin Rambler Jacket and Vest

Good things never go out of style with the passage of time. Great things just get better with the passage of time. Being purveyors of items that we find most useful in our day to day lives, our new waxed canvas jacket and vest is sure to become a new favorite. Tested by the Iron & Resin family over the past six months in a host of misadventures, these jackets have survived salt water near drownings while fending off tsunami like sneaker waves in Pismo Beach, being catapulted over handlebars on motorcycles in the deserts of Baja, off roading through the cool mists of Big Sur, and cross country on a pair of retired highway patrol bikes in torrential downpours. They, of course, have also been our favorite go-to on our day to day taco or surf runs. Built from heavy duty 10.10 oz. Martexin Waxed canvas, YKK zippers, heavy nickel 3-prong buttons, soft corduroy lined collar, waste and arm openings, this jacket wears like armor and is built to last for life. Martexin waxed canvas has been made in America by the same company since 1838 and is a breathable yet wind proof and waterproof durable cotton fabric. The canvas develops a patina over time that is unique to the wearer, much like a favorite pair of denim. The fit is classic and familiar, like your favorite trucker jacket and is equally functional while riding your motorbike or swinging an ax. Designed in our Ventura, CA studios and handmade right here in Southern California.
