as with all our gear we built the Fenceline Shirt Jacket for a purpose. this one was designed to not only withstand the job-site, but to go above and beyond any pre-conceived notions of the lifespan of the average work shirt. and when we tell you that this one checks all our boxes and then some, we truly mean it.
cotton duck, aka "cotton duck canvas," is a heavy, plain weave, cotton canvas that's been woven really tightly together to make one solid material to work with. remember those lawn chairs that had that stretchy cross-weave-looking-type-pattern? it's exactly like that (called warp and weft). it's that extremely tight weave that creates an incredibly dense, very durable, fabric that has been a proven choice for many ranges of workwear. and we dig it.

"Very solid mid-weight over shirt. Proportions are solid (for me, large, 6’2”, 210lbs). Love the subtle western style with a modern cut, The arms are a tad long which is all in the cuff which is longer than standard. I hate logos but it was easy to remove. I do wish it hand had hand pockets. It’s a heavy enough shirt/jacket that pockets would be appropriate. Still happily one of my go-tos that’s good for a casual night but tough enough for moderate outdoor work. Only things I would change are shortening the cuff and adding hand pockets."
