The jacket is beautiful, well
"The jacket is beautiful, well made, and I plan on wearing it for years. It does, however, run very small. I followed the recommendation and ordered a size larger than I normally wear, in this case getting a Medium. It was still too small to wear anything other than a tshirt under the jacket. I measured the Medium I received and it was 2 inches smaller across the chest than the other size Small jackets I have. I’m always a size 2 or 4 (small) and I had to order a large, which fits great and the return/exchange was a breeze."

"Gave this item to my daughter on a whim because i thought she would look great on it! I was not wrong and she loves it ! Shes also impossible to buy for -so big win ! Fits as described but a size up is best from your normal size … great quality ,great looking!"

Received this jacket today and
"Received this jacket today and WOW, it is truly a superb piece of craftsmanship. I was initially hesitant because of the price tag (though saved a significant amount with I&R's generous military discount); that being said, it is often true that "you get what you pay for," and in this case, you will get a heirloom-quality jacket. I think this could be worn in a variety of functions, either in a working capacity or around town. It is western without being "extra," classic without being outdated, and crafty without being pretentious. I'm looking forward to many years of wear out of this product. Thank you, I&R for sharing your craftsmanship with us!"

"I bought it for my wife and she immediately loved it. The work is quality as always from IR. The stitching is heavy duty but stylish and the leather is soft yet strong and the sherpa lining make this jacket perfect for any time you want to hit the open road."

I bought the Women's Open
"I bought the Women's Open Road Jacket for my wife as a gift. It is a fine jacket, and she likes it. The "BUT," however, is that the sizing for these jackets is ridiculously small. She is 5'5" or perhaps 5'6" and a fit lady. She normally wear Medium jackets. I just checked the closet: All her jackets are medium. As advised, I bought a Large. It fits - barely. So "barely," that she will not be able to wear, say, a heavy sweater under it. As we live in a warm climate, it should be okay. I tried to buy her an XL for comparison, but they are sold out. So purchasers beware: These jackets are small! They are really nice - if you can get the correct size."

"You wont find another like it, and you will never been as warm as you are when you are wearing it. There is not one thing I would change about this jacket, the description is perfect it truly meets all promises made and exceeds! Sizing was very true to what they said, normally I would be a xs/s but got a medium and it fit like a glove. The pockets will fit whatever tablet sized phone they put out next, the lining and hide are both premium for sure (whole room smells like fine leather since I unboxed it), the detailing is exactly what you expect from the brand. Overall I am honored to have this jacket hanging in my closet and this you would be too!"
