Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.

"Pants a thick and high quality. They are a baggy fit, which I prefer. The color of the pants is slightly darker than the picture depicts. I would say the pants are a tone between light sky-blue wash jeans and a dark blue denim jeans you see. They fit tts on the waist, but are longer than usual pants of my size--which isn't an issue since I can simply cuff the jeans. These pants have quickly become my favorites due to the fit, style, and quality of them. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat."
