Made from a 9oz Bedford Cord, our Brigade Shorts are inspired by the super versatile military fatigue pant of the past. We made sure we had something in our spring '22 quiver that was built for the warmer months ahead. So we came up with this traditional fatigue short, but with a tailored fit. Garment dyed, triple washed, double-needle felled construction, and just the right amount of stretch.

Jungle Cloth is a very strong and durable material, perfect for the day to-day, hard-wearing, needs in an outerwear piece. Jungle Cloth is also known as Bedford Cord, and although it resembles corduroy at first glance, the material was used in the U.S. Military during the 1920s-40s for its water-repelling properties in servicemen's apparel. from those it was then termed, "Jungle Cloth."

and when we say versatile, we mean it. our Beford Cord has been updated with a bit more stretch to make it even more comforatble. the 97% cotton with 3% spandex gives it just the right amount of give for those everyday activities. no more ripped seams while trying to powerslide those cement slabs to impress the ladies. and with the triple wash for extra softness right out of the box, we’re finding it hard to make up excuses not to own a pair of these.

"I’ve been a big fan of the brigade pants for some time and finally decided to get the shorts version of it. I’m pretty stoked I did! Fits pretty much just like the pants and the pants are true to size. I’m 5’11” 170/175 lbs and wear a size 31, they sit low on my waist but not too saggy/baggy. Not too short nor too long for shorts, and they look a bit on the dressy side so you can rock them in a casual fancy type of situation. They’re still shorts though so, highly appropriate for hanging out in the beach parking lot.. I got tue navy blue ones and will get a green pair also once they restock the 31s. Awesome shorts all around!"
