Sandmann Bozeman Boot in Black/Whiskey Cowhide

During our travels around Europe last season, we crossed paths with Sandmann, a bootmaker who builds the most beautiful, handmade boots out of a family owned factory in Spain that has been making boots for generations. Right then, we knew we had to do something with them. The exclusive Sandmann x InR Bozeman boot is Goodyear welted with a Vibram Moorflex outsole. Uppers are made from a beautiful, veg tanned, cowhide in a two-tone black and whiskey color way. The insole is made from oak-tanned cowhide and calfskin lined. Incredibly comfortable and built for a lifetime of adventures.

The Bozeman is made of high-quality leather that can easily withstand even greater strain and takes on a wonderful shine. Its durable Vibram sole offers you absolute comfort from the first moment.

The Bozeman sets out to earn its good reputation on the road and if you take good care of it, it will be a reliable and, above all, extremely comfortable companion forever.

The Nitty Gritty:

  • Ankle Height: 6 inches
  • Leather frame: The 360 ​​degree frame withstands extreme loads and is also the attachment base for the sole. This also makes possible repairs much easier.
  • Cork layer: The soft, flexible cork mixture under the insole adapts perfectly to the contours of your foot while walking.
  • Insole: To ensure high sweat absorption and rapid evaporation, the insole is made of oak-tanned leather.
  • Inner lining: The entire boot is lined with leather, which ensures sweat absorption, foot comfort and long-term wear.
  • Shaft padding: The padding on the edge of the shaft ensures an additional increase in comfort and completes the design of the shoe.

Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.
