by default, the right motorcycle jacket should be comfortable and protect you from the wind, rain, cold weather, and abrasions. because you're bound to go down one day, let's just face it. there's no doubt that leather jackets provide good protection from that dreaded road rash but can definitely run warmer than other materials; so they may not be great for an all-year-around type of gig.
