12oz Halley Stevensons Canvas

each piece has been built from 12oz Halley Stevensons waxed cotton canvas out of Scotland. they've been engineering waxed canvas since 1864, so we're confident to say they're experts in that textile field -- that's over 150 years!

the action of protecting, or the state of being protected.

every jacket in The Moto Collection comes standard with insertable - and removable -D30® CE protection armor. that's an abbreviation for "Conformité Européenne," which is a European motorcycle safety standard. we use D3O® CE Level 2 and Level 1 insertable + removable armor in all the jackets. it's D3O's most advanced breathable protection available, so we thought it was best we really ante'd up this time.

Premium piece of kit

"I’d been eyeing this jacket for awhile and took advantage of a sale price to finally pull the trigger. So far, my impression is that it’s worth every pretty penny! The weight, construction, and features put it clearly in the “premium” realm of moto wear, and wearing it offers and equally premium feeling. I’m glad to have made the purchase and look forward to the many years it’s sure to serve me well."

Scrambler Jacket

"Really pleased with the fit and quality. Also, the zip in liner provides just enough warmth to make this a good cool weather jacket for morning rides with the option to zip it out as the weather warms up."

"I have $1200 Schott NYC leather riding jackets, and from now on, I will be throwing on my Iron and Resin Scrambler. This jacket blows me away! It’s hard to say what I like about it, because I like absolutely everything about it. The material, the button snaps, the zipper, the fit, the comfort, all magnificent. Buy this one guys! You won’t be disappointed!!!"

The real deal. Very nice and well tailored.

"Very nice...cool looking, good quality, and most importantly, a great tailored fit. Other companies make nice jackets but their fit is terrible because they cut them straight with no taper. They assume your chest measurement is the same as your belly and in many cases that just isn't so. Iron and Resin jackets have a nice tapered cut that fits like a glove. I'm 5' 10" with a 50 inch chest and a 36" waist...215 pounds and I bought the XXL which fits perfect with the liner removed, it's a little snug with the liner but I probably won't use it anyway opting for a layer of fleece or a sweatshirt. I've done a few bench presses in my day and can be hard to fit but Iron and Resin gets the job done...I own 3 of their jackets now and love them all. These jackets aren't cheap but you will be happy with it....want fulfilled with one purchase instead of having a closet full of cheap junk that you don't really like so you never wear and end up giving them to the Goodwill. Buy what you want the first time and be done with it, money saved in the long run. Yes sir, I'm picky but I would recommend this jacket. I would say they run on the smaller side but not by much."

Epic Jacket

"Epic jacket. I’ve been wanting an I & R riding jacket for a while now, finally pulled the trigger and am really stoked on it. The fit is perfect, I’m 6 feet tall with broad shoulders/chest and the L fits like a glove - full mobility in arms/chest and trim in the waist. This thing is handsome! And the quality is of course excellent. I’ve had a handful of the different synthetic techy riding jackets, but they’re all so lame looking that I’ve been rocking an armored shirt under a denim jacket the past few years. But this thing, man, it’s badass heavy waxed canvas feels and looks a thousand times better to put on and wear than anything else. Looking forward to fall and winter riding to use the super warm liner more too. A 10/10 for sure, get one!"

Possibly my last Moto. Jacket :)

"I’ll be honest, this jacket is on the expensive side, but the reality is, this jacket is the real f*cking deal! It’s tops, truly, between, the zippered pockets (The Scrambler), the soft insides of the pockets, they’re large enough to hold my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The jacket is comfy, both in hot and cold weather, very very reliable and weather ready! And the freaking armor ***included*** :))) makes this jacket just that better. If you are going to ride, and want style, comfort, safety and durability, you have the choice of the three jackets because I wouldn’t doubt for a minute the other two are just as amazing. Just get it before it’s out of stock 🤙 I chose medium, and I’m 5’7, 170 lbs, male and it fits perfect."

Great Jacket and Great Customer Service

"First the Jacket: Great craftmanship, a lot of pockets, solid build, great materials. I can't speak highly enough about the jacket itself; it feels like it's going to last longer than I will. I get compliments about it wherever I go. The customer service I received however has made me a lifetime customer. I was nervous about making such a purchase online but Georgie helped me through the whole process to ensure I had something I was happy with. I'll be recommending I&R to anyone who will listen."
