Sometimes when you think of going places for the weekend you think it’s going to be the best of times. It usually is when your surrounded by friends, but sometimes you forget how far your going for such a short period of time. Milwaukee is about 14 hours or 900 miles depending on how you go about it from New York City. That sounds like a good drive. Fuck it, it will be a hell of time. Fast forward endless useless banter, gas station skate breaks, frigid coffee and snack runs, and oil top offs and your there. I went because my buddy Harley Carrera of Tradition Cycles had a motorcycle in the show. Left the day before the show, slept 3 hours in a parking lot, rolled the bike in the doors as the line at the entrance started taking shape. Oh did I mention as I rolled the bike in I merely dropped the bike because the foot peg stabbed me in the ankle while everyone was watching. Either way we sold some junk, met some new and old friends, had a great sandwich at cousins subs, somehow was giving a bed to sleep in (went there without even having a clue where to stay) and partied hard. The little photos and little edit are a result of the Midwest proving to be a great time. So, lets do it again next year?
