The funny thing about getting older is we finally realize just how cool Dad was and always will be. He's OG cool and he was riding a motorcycle across South America before you could walk. He was pounding beers in the forest with no one around to Instagram it. Hell, he probably built your childhood home with his own two hands. He did all of this and so much more and he didn't even need the Internet. The truth is, and we all know it, Dad is cooler than we ever will be because he came before us and showed us the real way.
So, this Father's Day let's say thank you for blazing the trail, Dad. Thank you for showing us what it means to seek out adventure and grapple it with our bare hands.
