Description

The historical nature of the functionality of the M65 Jacket goes way back before the times of INR. It's a cut that was introduced in 1965 as part of the uniform staple. It became known for its wind and rain resistance across many climates. We decided to pull inspiration from this piece and put our spin on it. Made from a durable and weather-proof Bedford Cord with both a zipper closure and front placket, this one is sure to fend off the elements. We added a hidden hood that comes out of the collar and our proprietary Rogue Jacket liner to made sure you stay warm throughout the season.

This is a fantastic jacket

"Be prepared to put some break-in time into it. It's stiff as a board the first time you put it on. The snaps are very stiff and the zipper was a little sticky in places, so if you have zipper and snap lubricant handy, this is a good place to use it. Things got a bit easier when I lubed everything up. I wish the snaps were a little bigger given how stiff the fabric is, because it's hard to line them up. If you have hand pain like I do, this may not be the jacket for you. It has a heavy lining and interior drawstring and I'm looking forward to taking it out into the cold top see how it does. The lining is not removable, so I don't think I'll be wearing it much in the warmer months."

"Excellent Re-Creation of an American Classic. Superior materials and exceptional craftsmanship. Reminds me of the M-65 jacket my uncle passed down to me in the early 80's. I believe it was from his time in the Marines in the lates 1960's early 1970's. I have no idea whatever happened to the original, but one can only hope this one will last as long and provide as much comfort as that ole hand-me-down did. Thanks I&R for recreating such a classic American jacket. Keep up the good work. Be sure to thank all those in the trenches making all these wonderful garments that are so true to their original inspirational pieces. I sincerely hope that all of you guys/gals @ I&R have a truly Blessed Day. L. Hammond"
