the first cut-and-sew piece we ever created.

we first introduced our waxed cotton rambler jacket back on july 25th, 2013. it was our first ever cut-and-sew piece that we officially developed as a brand. pretty damn exciting. and sure, anyone could buy an off-the-shelf outerwear piece, slap their name on it and call it a day, but would something like that meet the demands of our daily lifestyle?

the answer is no. we needed something tailored to our daily deeds. developed for our lifestyle. ready for really anything. not too technical. but stylish. you know, the basics.

Iron & Resin Rambler Jacket: The Piece That Started It All

well that idea began from wearing old school 60s lee storm rider denim jackets. the cuts were pretty rad. they fit pretty high on the waist, so they were great for ripping around on the bike, but still not 100% our style. growing up, many of our idols wore these. think McQueen and Newman. hard working sons-a-bitches that wore the hell out of 'em, which made them the iconic pieces that are today. rugged. timeless. all around wear. a man needs something like this. proud and scarred. something to tell stories about. something that lasts.

that's how our Rambler Jacket was born. it was the hero piece for us. it set the tone for everything we did from that point on. quality materials. built with a specific purpose. made with equal amounts of style and function. it was the equation that built our mission as a brand: develop quality provisions and make them last a long time.

like many, we're purveyors of goods that we find most useful in our daily lives. we strive to live simple, adventurous lives. and take along gear that will take us from point a to point b, whether it's sunny, raining, unplanned or planned, rugged provisions that will keep up. so using materials that will outlast and get better and better with age.

our Rambler Jacket has survived near saltwater drownings, gone over the bars so many times we've lost count, fended off unexpected dense + wet fog of the PNW, and so much more.

we wouldn't expect anything less.

we made two new colors out of a 12oz British Millerain Waxed Cotton Canvas: Vintage Black and Oiled Tan. we stayed true to the finer details that are very often overlooked, like a contrasted color corduroy collar, inside cuffs and front placket. it all closes up with the same heavy duty YKK front zipper and custom I&R tack buttons.

the Rambler Jacket is a worn, weathered, and trusted piece by our customers:

Never Been Cool Before
"Putting this thing on is like getting a wish from a genie. Wasn’t cool - now I look like I could play a bad ass I’m a movie. Super well made and the detaining is top notch. I’m 6’5” 250lbs with athletic build. Bought XXL. The cut is short on this sort of trucker jacket but it doesn’t look wrong on me. YMMV if you are tall. Prob depends on proportions."

The Perfect Road Jacket
"A perfect balance between function and rugged style. It has quickly become my go to jacket when hitting the road. The fit is perfect and the waxed canvas is very durable. I can definitely see this lasting for years to come. Plus, the rambler being made in the US is a nice bonus. Highly recommended!"

Quality
"Sweet peice of kit. I live in Ireland so the wax is being put to the test. Great cool individual looking jacket. Think I will be ordering the sleeveless very soon"
